They're Taking It Away...

Jim - I was LATE!.... But Dunaway wasn't gonna leave me... After all, I do have a "solo" in Mystic Trumpeter... I spent the first part of the trip with Kyle and our video game showdown. Afterwards, I pretty much spent the rest of the time with Paige. I discovered how interesting it is to stay in a room with Lance Davis. Very interesting. I think he's the best roommate I've ever had. This is the my 3rd consecutive time having Phil in my room. I've never been on a trip without him being in my room. He's a fun guy too. After attending a long concert, we returned to our rooms to enjoy a good nights sleep before our concert the next day.... yeah, right.... We stayed up for quite awhile. I decided to go to sleep finally while Phil changed rooms, leaving me with a bed to myself. Morning was strange because Although we stayed up quite awhile, we were among the first people to get up. The wake up call we requested did not come at 6. 7 minutes after 6, one did come. We were already up, but Lance picked it up and dropped it with a - "Now, that's what we call 'snooze'". It rung again and he did the same... A few minutes later it rung a 3rd time. Lance, annoyed by it, decided to answer it... and lo and behold, it turned out to be Dunaway who had be calling us to make sure we were awake. The lobby was bare of all life, so we got to help ourselves to breakfast without any waits... We had a dress rehearsal right before or performance and then put our hearts into the music for the performance... The crowd wasn't very appreciative of highschool groups, but I still performed for ACDA and that made it worth the time. After sitting out the rest of the program, We left and watched the ACDA highschool honour chorus practice... We watched from a balcony so we had only to rely on the tops of their heads to pick out Cameron, Arwin, Kevin, Caroline, and Nicolai. Caroline was the easiest spotted by the part in her hair. Hotel time followed for me with Thomas, Lance, and Daniel. After dinner we attended ANOTHER concert. I was tired so I spent a good majority of the time on the brink of sleep. The last night there was spent in adventure. We were supposed to have lights out at 11, but there was this other group of kids right next door to us, jumping up and down on the beds. Phil, Lance, and Daniel decided to go investigate. Because I was in the bathroom playing with the hairdryer and listening to my CD player at the same time, I didn't hear them locked out of the room. According to them, Dunaway was coming down the hall and checking on each of the rooms. They didn't get caught the first time because they ran into Ben, Thomas and Kyle's room. They then started banging on the door until I heard. Apparently I opened the door just in the nick of time, because Dunaway was once again coming down the hall. Things settled down soon after that and We continued to talk for a while. I fell asleep while Phil and Daniel talked for awhile. Once again, We made it to the lobby before the others, packed and ready to go. The trip home was spent reading female magazines with Paige and watching DVDs (oh... we watched Finding Nemo on the trip there YAY!!!). Leaving and getting home was awful... I was happy to be away from home all that time.... This was only a general look at what happened... There where many memorable moments on that trip, and it gave me an even better understanding of music than I had before. From the misstated things Lance said (Like, "Oh, don't worry... I'm gonna make him scream tonight... wait... HAHAHA..."), to me running to catch the elevator and it closing on me to have the whole lobby laughing at me... The trip was great... if only Colleen was there......
The Band - yeah..... still looking for a frontman...
Daily Lyrics - Swim in the smoke/ The hero will drown/ Intoxicating beauty tears/ Everything down/ But still our hands are/ Bound at the wrist/ This romantic tragedy is suffocating from your fist/ In a sea of fire ~ "And The Hero Will Drown" - Story Of The Year

You'll See That No One Knows For Sure...

Jim - I was thinking about some things regarding a post Paige had on her diary... and I've come up with a conclusion
Love
- Develops Slowly
- Recognizes the Importance of Compatibility
- Recognizes Faults
- Controls Physical Contact

Infatuation
- Develops Rapidly
- Disregards Compatibility
- Ignores Faults
- Doesn't Always Control Physical Contact

Love Endures In -
Separation - Survival even in separation..
Sharing - True love wants to share and give... It wants to do all for the other person
Strength - Your partner should give you strength and encouragement... The relationship should fill you with joy and make you more creative...
Respect - Respect of one another's values... Pride in your partner
Habits - Love accepts the person even with habits (good or bad). Thinking you can change the person in the relationship usually doesn't work out...
Arguments - You should be able to handle arguments... If your relationship never has them, then it's probably not a good one, because there's a huge chance of there being a lack of communication. There shouldn't be someone giving in all the time to maintain peace.

The Band - I updated the site and created a new guestbook.
::Daily Lyrics:: - For all of this/ I'm better of without you/ Do you regret so/ Your loneliness/ This ride is drifting slowly to the side/ We're swerving off the road/ Going past the cones that warns us from the start ~ "I Want To Hear You Sad" - The Early November

Oh Yeah... That's so Jim...

i am a mix taper!

How indie are you?
test by ridethefader

You're really enthusiastic about the music that you like. You attempt to discover your new favourite
band every week. You continually try to get your friends into the music you like, which annoys the fuck
out of them, but you don't know it. At least you're not arrogant about it.

Your Hopes Are High But Trapped Below...

Jim - *sigh*... Another boring weekend preluded by a boring Friday... I've done nothing... I bought a book... I need to get a life or something... I helped Jeff after his hangover at church today... HAHA... He was like "Okay, no more drinking"... and I was like "yeah... right... at least until tonight, right?"... well.... it was funny at the moment. He was in his usual jet black. I left church after eating... I wondered where he'd went... As I was driving off, I saw him standing on a perch near the roof of the church, his ever-observing eye watching me as I left. Sometimes I wonder about him. But he's pretty much the same Jeff I lived in Nicaragua with...
So... I guess I'm gonna go absorb myself in my own boredom... GOD... I need to get some friends...
The Band - Vocalists Anybody???
::Daily Lyrics:: - But I grew up, wishing on a star/ You think I won't ever get to far/ So now I am wishing on a star/ You think I won't ever get to far ~ "Star Struck" - Yellowcard

A Gaping Hole, Shot Through My Heart...

Jim - Gosh... this week has been crazy... from a the freakin' tests to have my own song stuck in my head. I've really had nothing much to say... but I really need to update my journal a lot more often. I got the debut Jenoah EP, and they SUCK... I know drive-thru records have higher standards than that. hmmm I'm listening to my Hot Hot Heat CD right now... I haven't listened to it for awhile... anyway... I really am devoid of anything really interesting to say. We have a Chorale trip & Women's Chorus trip to the festival tom. so I think I'm gonna take a long nap on the bus and avoid Caroline so that colleen won't get mad at me or anything... I need to go practice my music for the Opera we're doing... I'm gonna try out for the Usher part I guess... He's a funny guy... I would try out for the leader of the Jury, but Cameron's gonna get that part because that's the one he wants... so be basically already has it. And Nick basically has the Judge part because that's the one he wants... Anyway... yeah... I'm gonna stop rambling pointlessly and leave...
::Daily Lyrics:: - You ripped my heart out/ You tore my eyes out/ Now you're gonna pay/ I'll stab you one time/ I'll eat your heart out so you feel my pain./ Don't you know that I always see you/ In all of my dreams?/ I wanna kill you ~ "One Eight Seven" - Senses Fail

She is vedy talented. ::sigh:: Cici is my valentine!! I hear she is vedy gewd in the sexual areas so perhaps we'll have a go at it on Valentine's Day. I wanted to ask Colleen (shes so hawt) to be my Valentine but her beauty is so intimidating. It all worked out great though because I love my Cici. She is GREAT!!
Jim - Seriously.... I didn't write this...

I Plan On Never Waking Up...

Jim - Well..... today is my birthday... I tried to keep a low profile but people who did know was like "HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOEY!" and other people are like... "What?...... who's birthday? Joey, it's your birthday?" "We should sing "happy birthday" for you"... and I'm like.... "No... let's not..."... Oh well.... I tried... No one at home is very nice to me though... my mom was full of criticism and a snap to every question I ask... and they wonder why I don't talk to them...

Smile On My Face And Air Guitar Rockin'...

Jim - Home sweet home?... please... you all know I'd rather be anywhere but here. But as the famous Jim always says, "All Chorale trips must end." If you want to get deep into what happened on that trip, you can probably rely on Paige's FOD for a good low down on the more interesting things of the trip... drama and the false personages unveiled... it's interesting how much you can learn about people just by living with them for a few days. But in all and all, it was a good first chorale trip. I spent time with the "musical dorks" of chorale (Cameron, Caroline, Nick, Arwin, ect. along with some chorale grads like Ginny and Elizabeth)... Spent some time with Paige too... Nick, Mike and I followed the Noah chronicles and called noah and checked up on him, got nick hooked up with Sarah, and Noah back with Keri (a big mistake on my opinion) And I called Colleen and wasted her time for at least 30 minutes.... I got some offers from colleges and universities. I think I'm gonna stalk nick and attend Shorter College... Notice that The Vanity Crowd link is now gone from my journal. Mainly because Collin left the band (which is the reason why I was supporting it) and because they really suck... sorry guys... try to create your own ORIGINAL rifts and try not to be flat on your vocals and just maybe I'll put you back on. Nick's band is looking good. He got Cameron to play lead and I think they're gonna get Collin to play lead bass. That's gonna be cool to have 2 bassists... That's something that I haven't seen in any other band that I can think of right now... oh well. I just wrote the music to another original for my band and it's one of my best works. My Birthday is this Thursday... I'll be of driving age so that when I get my car this summer, I can take Colleen anywhere she wants to go. Oh... and I almost forgot... I'm still looking for a vocalist!... contact me!
The Band - Guys... I expect you to be looking for a vocalist as well.
::Daily Lyrics:: - The Sadie Hawkins Dance/ In my khaki pants/ There's nothin' better/ Oh oh oh/ The girls ask the guys/ It's always a surprise/ There's nothin' better/ baby do you like my sweater? ~ "Sadie Hawkins Dance" - Relient K
