They're Taking It Away...

Jim - I was LATE!.... But Dunaway wasn't gonna leave me... After all, I do have a "solo" in Mystic Trumpeter... I spent the first part of the trip with Kyle and our video game showdown. Afterwards, I pretty much spent the rest of the time with Paige. I discovered how interesting it is to stay in a room with Lance Davis. Very interesting. I think he's the best roommate I've ever had. This is the my 3rd consecutive time having Phil in my room. I've never been on a trip without him being in my room. He's a fun guy too. After attending a long concert, we returned to our rooms to enjoy a good nights sleep before our concert the next day.... yeah, right.... We stayed up for quite awhile. I decided to go to sleep finally while Phil changed rooms, leaving me with a bed to myself. Morning was strange because Although we stayed up quite awhile, we were among the first people to get up. The wake up call we requested did not come at 6. 7 minutes after 6, one did come. We were already up, but Lance picked it up and dropped it with a - "Now, that's what we call 'snooze'". It rung again and he did the same... A few minutes later it rung a 3rd time. Lance, annoyed by it, decided to answer it... and lo and behold, it turned out to be Dunaway who had be calling us to make sure we were awake. The lobby was bare of all life, so we got to help ourselves to breakfast without any waits... We had a dress rehearsal right before or performance and then put our hearts into the music for the performance... The crowd wasn't very appreciative of highschool groups, but I still performed for ACDA and that made it worth the time. After sitting out the rest of the program, We left and watched the ACDA highschool honour chorus practice... We watched from a balcony so we had only to rely on the tops of their heads to pick out Cameron, Arwin, Kevin, Caroline, and Nicolai. Caroline was the easiest spotted by the part in her hair. Hotel time followed for me with Thomas, Lance, and Daniel. After dinner we attended ANOTHER concert. I was tired so I spent a good majority of the time on the brink of sleep. The last night there was spent in adventure. We were supposed to have lights out at 11, but there was this other group of kids right next door to us, jumping up and down on the beds. Phil, Lance, and Daniel decided to go investigate. Because I was in the bathroom playing with the hairdryer and listening to my CD player at the same time, I didn't hear them locked out of the room. According to them, Dunaway was coming down the hall and checking on each of the rooms. They didn't get caught the first time because they ran into Ben, Thomas and Kyle's room. They then started banging on the door until I heard. Apparently I opened the door just in the nick of time, because Dunaway was once again coming down the hall. Things settled down soon after that and We continued to talk for a while. I fell asleep while Phil and Daniel talked for awhile. Once again, We made it to the lobby before the others, packed and ready to go. The trip home was spent reading female magazines with Paige and watching DVDs (oh... we watched Finding Nemo on the trip there YAY!!!). Leaving and getting home was awful... I was happy to be away from home all that time.... This was only a general look at what happened... There where many memorable moments on that trip, and it gave me an even better understanding of music than I had before. From the misstated things Lance said (Like, "Oh, don't worry... I'm gonna make him scream tonight... wait... HAHAHA..."), to me running to catch the elevator and it closing on me to have the whole lobby laughing at me... The trip was great... if only Colleen was there......
The Band - yeah..... still looking for a frontman...
