My first post in "Jim's Journal". How exciting. I joined because I'm hoping that this will give me a little bit more privacy than my livejournal. Of course, I realize that it's a public journal, but who would think to find me here?

A lot has happened this week. Most recently, this afternoon, I got to see a good friend of mine from the tenth grade. Jesse. Jesse is such a hippie. We are so different, but he reminds me of 2003, and what an awesome year that was for me. You wouldn't be surprised if "Life's a garden - dig it" came out of his mouth. Always optimistic.

School is off to a great start. I'm so motivated. Especially in my Algebra III class. I'm eager to find out which classes I can take over the summer. I'm considering taking 3 summer courses to give me a head start in college. That way, I'll have time to take classes such as Astronomy, Japanese, and possible yoga. I would also really like to start working on my Women's Studies minor as quickly as possible, but ASU doesn't offer any summer Women's Studies courses.

As much as my mom doesn't want me to move away, she's also excited about helping me pick out my dorm decorations.

I will be 18 in one month...to the day. Words cannot express how excited I am. I still don't know what I'm going to do for my birthday. The guest list has a couple of snares.

My nose is runny.
