What A Bundle Of Joy...

Jim - AHH!.. Finally this Opera is starting to happen. It wasn't the most beautiful thing today, but I had a weird sense of confidence... I guess I'm going to have to considering We don't have Nick to cover our backs... So I'm kind of taking his place and singing out ALOT more... But it puts more pressure on me if I mess up... it's kind of like my first step of any form of leadership for my section... But I think Phil will be a great section leader. He has what it takes and I'm glad I had the opportunity to sit by him at the beginning of chorale... He taught me some things. WEEEEE!... I took my new 2003 Ford Escape for a ride this evening.. We haven't bought it yet, but we'll have it in a little bit... I'm so excited... man... That little suv has a lot of kick for a V6 engine. The first time I touched the accelerator, it lurched backward... no... I do understand pedal pressure... but man... it's REALLY sensitive... and it's hard to tell when you're pushing the gas pedal because it feels like it's not even their... it's too smooth.... AHH... anyway... about 2 more days left to review for musical theatre and I'm determined to make this audition worth something... This is the year where I've made nothing worth anything... missed Allstate, bombed all other auditions, and some other stuff I can't think of... but this is going to be the goal I accomplish... A lot of people are trying out for it now, and I'll have some competion... but I'm sure I can still get in. I'm happy that Sarah Price, Steven Estep, Joan Estep, Tyler Bugg, and a few other people are auditioning because I know they have a great chance of getting in and I'll enjoy their comradeship (is that a word?....).. Blah... Moving on... nothing for me to say... (besides the above...)
